Families seeking small amounts of financial support can apply to the following organisations for grant funding.

Al-Mizan Charitable Trust - Grants and loans for families in financial hardship of up to £500

Grants to Help Disadvantaged Young People Participate in Sports (UK)

THE DICKIE BIRD FOUNDATION:

Grants to children under 16yrs to participate in the sport of their choice, to the best of their ability, irrespective of their background, social circumstances, culture or ethnicity to ensure that they improve their chances both inside and outside sport. www.thedickiebirdfoundation.co.uk/grants

 Education Grant Programme to start or continue on a course of education or training OVER 16

 Small grants scheme for anyone living, working or studying in Merton:

 Food for children

  School educational trips

  Emergency house repairs

  Exam entrance fee, mobility scooter batteries

  School uniforms

  Utility bills
