A-Level Results 2016

Students and staff at Raynes Park High School are today celebrating fantastic A Level and BTEC results, with many students’ achieving excellent grades and going on to university. These results have once again exceeded expectations and are the best in the school’s history, marking yet another year of excellent academic and personal achievements for the students.

In the large and inclusive sixth form, another superb pass rate was achieved with 99% of all examinations passed. 21% of all level 3 qualifications were passed with grades A*- A, and 78% were passed with grades A* to C. BTEC Level 3 results are impressive with 88% achieving Distinction*/Distinction.

Value added is strongly positive, indicating that in the RPHS sixth form students make stronger progress than the average from GCSE to A Level. More importantly, most students have secured places at universities of their choice, many of whom will be the first in their family to attend university. As well as going on to Higher Education, RPHS students are also embarking on apprenticeships, gap years and employment.

Headteacher Mrs Heard said: “We are very proud of our students’ achievements. These are excellent results across the board, for which students have worked extremely hard. I would like to offer students our warmest congratulations and, on their behalf, thank all of the teachers for their contribution to making these results possible. We wish our former Year 13 students every success for the future”.
