Multi-Cultural Evening

On 24th April Raynes Park High School experienced its first ever Multi-Cultural Evening and I am delighted to say I am very proud to have been a part of it.

On the night there were singers, dancers, African drummers and a very talented pianist.

The Raynes Park Sixth Formers leading the whole evening, Lisa Sintim-Gyimah and Franzia French putting in an enormous amount of hard work. It was their vision and inspiration which made the event a reality and there is already talk or organising another Multicultural Evening next year.

“I'm proud to have been a part of the first multi-cultural evening and I’m grateful to everyone who helped make it a success. Let’s hope we can get more people involved next year!” Franzia French.

On behalf of myself and Miss Dennis we would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who came to support us. The evening raised £200, some of which was donated to ACLT charity and the remainder towards the Sixth Form end of year celebration. The evening was compered by the multi-talented Mr Mba who was himself a star act, keeping everyone laughing, clapping and cheering.

It was a great evening and also very rewarding to know that it was a big success. Miss O’Connor - Key Support Worker (LDD)
