GCSE Results up 13% on last Year

GCSE Exam Results are best in School’s History  -  Up 13% on 2014

Raynes Park is delighted to announce the best results in the school’s history in its 2014 GCSE exam results. The percentage of students achieving 5+ A*- C including English and Maths jumped by 13% to 57% (44% in 2013).  They represent an improvement on every measure from the previous year.

The 2014 GCSE results reflect significant increases and excellent performances from subject departments including:
• English up 14% to 67% A* - C.
• Languages increased by over 20% to 87% A*- C
• History increased 25% in one year to 65%
• ICT increased by 50% to 80% A*- C

Science increased by 7% to 95% and results remain strong in Maths with 66% of students gaining a C Grade or higher.

Headteacher, Phillip Wheatley commented, “These results are an outstanding achievement and testimony to the hard work and dedication of the students, the staff and parents/carers who have supported them throughout their studies.    
These latest results demonstrate impressive progress and are a reflection of the significant change and strong foundations we have built at RPHS over the past two years. We are confident that this upward trend will continue and accelerate in the years to come as we remain ambitious for our future and for our students.
We are immensely proud of all of our students and look forward to them continuing their studies in our Sixth Form to graduate onto university in 2016”.
