Students’ Sporting Achievements Recognised at Academy Awards Evening

The RPHS ‘2015 Sports Academy Awards Evening’ took place on Thursday 7th May. Outstanding students from the Rugby, Netball, Basketball and Dance Academies received trophies in the categories of; Best Individual Performance; Leadership Award; Most Improved Player and Outstanding Performer.

The awards were presented by Dave Ward, Hooker for Harlequins RFC, and England U18 and U21 player.

Mr Ward also gave a motivational speech saying that “Even when you reach your peak as a sportsperson, never,  give up, continue to work hard and stay at the top”.     

The outstanding performer awards went to:

Rugby Academy Outstanding Performer Awards: KS3 Ethan Kaloudau-Taylor and KS4/5 Robert Dotchin

Dance Academy Outstanding Performer Awards: KS3 Adriana Linton and KS4/5 Sade Nelson-Foss

Netball Academy Most Valuable Player Awards: KS3 Tianna Nihill and KS4/5 Rocssan Fallahi

Basketball Academy 3 Point King: KS3/4 Kyron Martin and KS5 Nathaniel Hester
