Today the geography department was delighted to welcome Dr Zinah, a dentist at Bupa Global, who shared his remarkable journey from Syria to the UK as a refugee. Dr. Zinah has connected his own personal geography to Year 9’s recent topics of conflict and development. Students were hooked during the lecture and asked some thought-provoking and informed questions during a Q&A at the end. Many thanks to Dr Zinah for sharing his story with us.
