The Trust was established in 1998 to support the school and its students for projects small and large which are not covered by the school’s budget. As a charity the Trust can obtain grants and donations only open to charities and can hold money for specific fundraising projects. Some years ago it acted as the fund holder for moneys raised for the sports ground and more recently for the former pupils’ donations for the new stage.

Over the years the Trust has provided grants for outdoor table tennis equipment, photographic equipment for the Art Department and equipment for the Duke of Edinburgh Award to name but a few. Individual pupils have received awards to carry out specific studies or take part in school trips. Over 80 grants to the school or students have been made since 1998.

Funds come from donations, gift aid, deeds of covenant and bequests. The Trust has raised grants from other Trusts to refurbish the wild garden and set up a vegetable growing patch. Another major potential source of funds is easyfundraising.com. If you buy online you will find that many companies including Tesco, John Lewis, Morrisons etc will make a donation to the Trust when you buy from them. Please go to the easy fundraising website and download the donation reminder to make donations to the Trust.

We welcome donations but also fundraising ideas and offers of help. Your comments or suggestions are welcome to RPHSTrust@outlook.com

Thank you!
