Year 13 Biology and Geography Trip to Minehead

A-Level Biology and Geography students have just returned from a 4-day residential trip to Minehead and the surrounding coastline, where they completed coursework and practical investigations from longshore drift and beach profiles to estimating populations and succession.

The students had a fantastic time and learned so much!

Here are some lovely quotes from our students who attended the trip...

"The trip was insightful, educational and fun! " - Zack, Year 13.

" It was the best trip I ever went on. I learned so much outside of the classroom and bonded with my classmates. My personal highlight was finding the most amazing ammonite fossil on the beach" - Esther, Year 13.

"I learned how to cook for lots of people and feel like it prepared me for university in so many ways beyond my academic studies" - Ajani, Year 13.

"It was so nice to be out in nature and so many different environments - it was a different way of learning away from the classroom and I really enjoyed it" - Keira, Year 13.
