CROSS country-Sporting Achievement!

Last week RPHS students achieved some fantastic results in the Merton Borough cross-country competition at Morden Park.

Following on from the success of the RPHS House cross-country competition within PE lessons, we selected a squad to compete in the Borough competition, and they have been our most successful to date.

We secured 1st and 2nd in the Year 7 boys race with Theo coming 1st and Ronnie 2nd, both have now been selected for the London Youth games and qualified for the next round!

Lily and Ebenezer in Year 9 both came second in their race and secured a London Youth games invite and qualification to the next round.

The Year 10 and 11 race was particularly successful with Louie in 2nd and Jamie in 3rd place! RPHS had 4 students in the top 10 taking 5th and 9th place also. All top 10 students qualified for the next round.

Finally, Madison our only Year 11 student to attended secured a bronze medal!

We are so proud of our students, the amazing results they achieved and the support they gave to others competing - well done to you all!
