Last week RPHS had an extremely exciting visit from author Femi Fadugba, who we welcomed to debut his novel ‘The Upper World’. 🤩📚

Set in South London, Peckham and Brixton, The Upper World which includes themes exploring free will, quantum physics, relationships, gang culture and many more. Oscar winning actor, Daniel Kaluuya, is currently working on creating a Netflix movie based on ‘The Upper World’. We can’t wait to watch it!

Some of our students were lucky enough to study this novel last year and upon hearing of Femi’s visit they were really excited to meet him; even those students who you may think never indulge in reading for pleasure have shown high levels of interest in this amazing book that champions diversity, representation and relatability in young adult fiction!
