GCSE Results Day

Raynes Park High School is proud to congratulate students and staff on the achievement of this year’s GCSE cohort.

63% of Year 11 students achieved secure GCSE passes (9 - 4: A* - C equivalent) and 41% of the cohort achieved strong passes (9 -  5: A* - B equivalent) in English and Maths. The school is particularly delighted that 50 grades were awarded at 9 (A** equivalent) and 40 grades at 8 (A* equivalent). These are fantastic results which have been achieved by a fully comprehensive intake tackling more demanding GCSE examinations.

Headteacher Mrs Heard congratulates students on their individual achievements as well as the staff for the school’s overall success.

“We are all so proud of the achievements of our students. These results are a reflection of their hard work and the commitment of all of our teaching and support staff at RPHS. We are delighted that many of the students have selected to stay on at our Sixth form and we are confident that we can offer them outstanding progression routes. I would also like to thank our parents and carers for their on-going support, particularly throughout the exam season”.

Among the school’s vast number of success stories, we are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of a number of individual students. Special praise should be given to Alex who achieved a grade 9 in Computer Science and was the highest performer in OCR’s June examination; a truly remarkable achievement, in addition to a further 6 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s.

Our congratulations also go to the following students for their exceptional individual performances;

Megan = 8 grade 9s and 1 grade 8

Sam = 7 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s

Salome = 5 grade 9s and 4 grade 8s

Jetta = 4 grade 9s, 3 grade 8s and 2 grade 7s

Adam = 2 grade 9s, 5 grade 8s and 2 grade 6s
