Last month, 29 of our Mathematicians from years 7 and 8 sat the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge. The JMC is an opportunity for our students to think outside the box and develop an interest in mathematical problem solving, taken to a whole new level.

Our students did a fantastic job, achieving 7 Bronze, 6 Silver and 1 Gold. Our Gold certificate is awarded to Kiaan  in Year 7, who achieved Best in School, will also go forward to represent the school in the Junior Kangaroo round, a more intense version of the challenge.

A special mention to Ian  in year 8 for achieving the best score in year 8. Well done to all of those who took part this year.
