Remembrance day

Our school community gathered for a thoughtful Remembrance Assembly to honour all those affected by war, as well as the RPHS students whose lives were lost in the Second World War. The assembly featured reflective readings,a poignant roll call and a shared two‑minute silence, during which students demonstrated great respect and maturity as they considered the importance of remembrance and the values of courage, sacrifice and peace.

We were privileged to welcome former pupils, local councillors, and members of the Governing Body, who attended to support the occasion and acknowledge its importance to both the school and the wider community. Their presence contributed to a meaningful event that reinforced the value of coming together to remember our shared history.
