This week RPHS continued to celebrate Black History Month!

If you saw our last post about RPHS activities for Black History Month, you would have seen that instead of our usual school bells this month we will be playing black artists music through the speakers at lesson changeover.  This week the students have enjoyed listening to many more artist, some of our favourites this week included Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder and Toni Braxton.

Every Wednesday during Black History Month we are treated to different meals traditional to black heritage countries. This week our wonderful canteen staff made delicious Jerk chicken, once again it was so delicious!

If you were to head over to our library this month you would see a display of wonderful books that we have in our library by black authors! Student have enjoyed putting their favourite ones on the stand so their peers can read them to.
