Huge congratulations to our Year 9 students who took part in the Globe Theatre's Curtain Raiser competition and have been selected to perform at the Globe in March 2024. Following an audition workshop with Globe Theatre practitioners, students created a two-minute performance of their own opening to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, which was filmed and taken back to the board of judges at the Globe. This will now be presented as a 'curtain raiser' at the Globe prior to their production of Romeo and & Juliet.
