GCSE Results - 2022
Students and staff at Raynes Park High School are today celebrating their GCSE results, the first set of externally assessed exams since 2019. These results have exceeded expectations and recognise the excellent academic and personal achievements for RPHS students, demonstrating their hard work and the dedication of our staff.
70% of Year 11 students achieved secure GCSE passes (9 - 4: A* - C equivalent) and 52% of the cohort achieved strong passes (9 - 5: A* - B equivalent) in English and Maths. The school is particularly delighted that 81 grades were awarded at 9 or 8 (A** / A* equivalent) and 167 grades at 7 or above (A equivalent). These are fantastic results which have been achieved by a fully comprehensive intake.
Headteacher Miss Taylor congratulates students on their individual achievements as well as the staff for the school’s overall success.
“We are all so proud of the achievements of our students. Despite the disruption to the start of their GCSE courses due to the pandemic, these excellent results are a reflection of hard work and the commitment of all of our teaching and support staff at RPHS. We are delighted that many of the students will stay on at our Sixth Form and we are looking forward to welcoming them back in September. I would also like to thank our parents and carers for their on-going support, particularly throughout the exam season”.
