Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
It is with great pleasure that I am writing to inform you about the Ofsted Report on the school’s performance following our inspection on 13th and 14th October, which can be found on our website. We are very proud of our school and delighted that the inspection team recognised the school’s many strengths.
The school was judged as ‘Good’ in all categories and the inspection showed that we are effective in meeting the needs of our students whilst supporting them to achieve well and make good progress. Leadership and management is graded as good and governance is strong, supporting and challenging us in our drive for improvement. Teaching is good and teachers have a sound knowledge of each student’s learning and progress. Behaviour in lessons and around the school is also good; students are courteous and polite, ensuring the school is a peaceful and harmonious community. The Sixth Form retained its good grading by continuing to promote good learning and achievement, whilst raising self-esteem and promoting high aspirations.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank parents and carers who provided their views to the inspection team via ParentView; please continue to provide us with feedback on the school as we value knowing what we do well and what we need to do to improve further.
I would also like to thank our students whose good behaviour and positive attitudes were remarked on by inspectors. In addition, I want to record my thanks to the staff for their hard work in making this inspection such a success.
I am confident that we have the capacity and drive to continue to improve and I will ensure that we are doing our best for every student at Raynes Park High School.
