Remote Learning

SUPPORTING OUR STUDENTS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic across the UK, school students have had their learning disrupted. To mitigate this disruption we have developed a remote learning strategy to be able to support students who are learning at home. You can access our strategy, which outlines how we will continue support our students where a full or partial school closure is in place by clicking the link below:

OFFICE 365 AND MICROSOFT TEAMS

In the case of a full or partial lock down, which results in large numbers of students being asked to self-isolate at home, we will use Microsoft Teams to provide students with some "live teaching" as outlined in our remote learning strategy . To help ensure that all students can access these lessons, we have created a series of user guides. Link to these guides can be found below:

Online safety & safeguarding

We have collated a number of resources to support students and their families to ensure that remote learning is as successful as possible and allows all students to get the education they need, despite not being at school. These can be accessed via the link below that will take you to our Online Safety page.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the latest National Lockdown (4th January) we have amended our safeguarding policy to reflect the move to online learning. These policies are under constant review and will be updated accordingly.
You can access this latest amendment, along with our other key policies by following the link below.
